Legend of Aoraki and the waka atua Āraiteuru

Most of the landmarks in Te Manahuna Aoraki are named after ancestors of the waka atua Āraiteuru including the majestic Aoraki. Te rūnaka o Moeraki Upoko, and Te Manahuna Aoraki board member, David Higgins shares the creation story of Āraiteuru.
